In the summer of 1994 I started writing “Sexperiencias” (Sexperiences) because I wanted to pick up this creative, interesting and quite unusual guy I had met. Back then I was just an ordinary secretary. To impress him I told him that I was writing an erotic novel in Spanish. Luckily enough the guy asked if he could read it, and I didn't have a choice - I really had to start writing.
The first chapter was the perfect weapon to make all the competition which was buzzing around my boy drop dead.
When I delivered the second chapter he delivered himself up… completely
After the third chapter he proudly started to introduce me as “a writer of erotic novels”
By the fourth chapter the guy was already picked up and in the bag… and the unfinished book was abandoned…
In the summer of 2001 I found the chapters in an old box. I read them again. I didn't dislike them. They brought back some nice memories, so I sat down and finished the novel.
The sex...
There are a few common sense things which I don't quite understand:
How is it that when women in the movies wake up, they look splendid and perfectly made up?
Where did kings and queens go to pee if there are no bathrooms visible in the royal palaces, now converted into museums?
Why do most of the love stories in books keep the bedroom door shut?
In “Sexperiencias” writing the sex scenes was a fun and easy thing to do. The way each of my heroes made love helped me show his character and his personality.
I described the relationships the way they happen in life to any of us and I left the bedroom door open for the readers.
